VANILLA TEST – Buy a pure vanilla in the grocery store, take a Q-tip and put in the pure vanilla and rub on the left index finger and rub the left index finger to the left thumb. Turn the Q-tip over and dip it in the Watkins Original Vanilla and put in on the right index finger. Rub the right index finger to the right thumb. Smell each index finger separately. The pure vanilla will disappear because it has to contain 35% alcohol and Watkins Original Vanilla has only 8 1/4% alcohol. The Original Vanilla is fortified so it will not bake out or freeze out and is twice as strong as pure vanilla You can cut down half when using the Original Vanilla so when a recipe calls for a teaspoon, use 1/2 tsp. of Watkins Original Vanilla. Besides the flavor a lot of money will be saved by using Watkins Original. 11 oz. is like buying 22 oz. so take 22 times the price you paid for the 1 oz. of Pure Vanilla in the store and you have the savings. Use in cottage cheese. Put in plain yogurt for added flavor and few calories Someone allergic to paint? Put 1 TBL. of Watkins White Vanilla in a gal. of paint and it helps the allergy. Also use 2 tsp. of Watkins White Vanilla to 1 gallon of paint and you will not have a bad odor of paint.
